JFFS3 again
Mmm, well the patches seem to work ..
11 seconds ..
Is the time it now takes to mount the JFFS2/3 filesystem. It's an
improvement .. assuming it holds up I think we're almost good to go ..
Couple more bits to finish up;
- Check out the use USB key as home option and make sure it works
- Write some code to dynamically load / save system settings for USB home option [trivial]
- Check out an end-to-end CD/USB key install, make sure it works
- Document the installation process
- Release as 0.3.3
ToDo for next subsequent release;
- Rebuild a clean root using mtune as opposed to march
- Release specific kernel options (486/586/686)
- Remove applications from the base distro and implement base+apps type setup
- Implement some sort of installation process for the key
- Implement some sort of installation process for binary packages
